Hey y’all. I’m Dr. C—founder of Unfiltered & Uncorked™, mama to a beautiful baby girl, wife to a patient man, and walking proof that being loud, brilliant, and Black is not a contradiction.

I created this brand out of equal parts exhaustion and inspiration. Exhausted from code-switching, tone-policing, and pretending like I didn’t want to scream in the workplace. Inspired by the kind of women I was raised by—the ones who could cuss you out and cook you dinner in the same breath. The ones who prayed over you and dragged you if you got outta line. The ones who deserved a card that actually sounded like them.

Let’s be clear: this ain't Hallmark.

This is for the side-eye senders, the group chat queens, the mamas, aunties, besties, and bougie rebels who want their gifts and goods to reflect who they really are—flaws, finesse, and all.

I have a doctorate in business, and enough lived experience as a Black woman to know that the world wasn’t going to hand me a lane. So I built one.

I launched this brand with a few card ideas and a mouth full of truth—and somehow, y’all saw me. You felt me. And that’s what keeps this brand breathing.
